Japan Jazz Pop Piano Competition 2026 – International Call for Pianists

A világ különböző tájairól (Európa szinte valamennyi országából, Kanadából, az Egyesült Államokból, Brazíliából, Afrikából, Ausztráliából) napi szinten kapok ott élő magyaroktól, illetve jazz zenészektől emailt. De Japánból most először kaptam. Ez azt jelenti, hogy az Északi sarkot, valamint a Déli sarkot kivéve a Földön mindenütt ismerik a www.jazzma.hu-t.

Dear Mr. Maloschik,

I am writing to introduce the Japan Jazz Pop Piano Competition (JJPPC) and to ask whether you might consider sharing our international call for pianists with JazzMa readers.

The 5th edition of JJPPC will take place in Tokyo, Japan, on September 26–27, 2026. The competition is open to creative jazz and pop pianists from Japan and abroad, with a strong emphasis on individuality, improvisation, creativity, and personal musical expression.

From the next edition, we are also planning to introduce an online participation option, making the competition more accessible to pianists around the world.
