Tommy Vig is 82. To him the word „jazz” means something special: that explains the title of his current group, featuring Csuhaj Barna Tibor, Jeszenszky György and Zsoldos Béla:

escaped to America on November 18, 1956: he wanted to live in a place where talent and ambitions mattered and no Communists would tell him how to play music. (Stan Kenton ordered compositions from Tommy, which were performed at the MUSIC CENTER PAVILION by the Neophonic Orchestra.)

He came home in 2006 and today he and Mia (joyfully married for over 50 years) are very happy in Budapest!
